Friends Of The Galleries

General Information
The Friends of the Hunter College Galleries support Hunter's
accomplished Art Department (LINK to home page) faculty and staff,
the Bertha and Karl Leubsdorf Gallery, the art slide library and the
critique room on Hunter's main campus and the Hunter
College/Times Square Gallery at 450 West 41st Street. The Friends
help to ensure student access to an exceptional art education and to
exhibition spaces that display their work and the work of professional
artists.

The Friends of the Galleries provide vital annual support for the
Hunter Fine Arts Program. The funds raised through contributions,
membership dues and special events help to support exhibitions,
catalogues, opening-night receptions, curatorial honorariums,
recruitment efforts, student and faculty enrichment programs and so
much more.
