Thursday, March 27 at 6 pm
- Young Alumni Social: Whether you’re young or young at heart, we invite you to kick off the weekend with fellow recent graduates and reconnect in style!

Theatre Alumni - join us prior to the Young Alumni Social for Inspire: Hunter Theatre Alumni and Student networking mixer, starting at 5:30 pm. Aspiring theatre students are eager to hear about your journey since graduation.
Friday, March 28
- Hunter Underground, starting at 5 pm: Join us for the second edition of Hunter Underground, a new student-run interdisciplinary arts showcase, designed to create a venue on campus with ongoing opportunities for students in all arts programs to collaborate and share their work. Launched in fall 2024, this showcase of original student artwork: music, short plays, poetry and fiction readings, short films, art installations, and more is sponsored by the Office of the Arts. The evening will start with a social mixer with students, followed by the show at 6 pm.

Morning Events – Reunion registration opens at 9:30 am
- Morning Memories by the Decades Breakfast: 9:30 am – 10:30 am: Start your day with a delicious breakfast and catch up with friends in breakout rooms by the decades. Whether you graduated in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, or 2020s, you’ll find a space filled with familiar faces and shared experiences. There will also be dedicated rooms for the Schools of Nursing, Health Professions, and Social Work as well as the Honors and Scholars cohorts, providing valuable opportunities to connect with faculty and Deans.
- Alumni Expo: 9:30 am – 1 pm: Engage in fun and interactive activities that will take you down memory lane and learn more about programs and events at Hunter College. Take a fun photo at our Alumni Weekend photobooth, visit with Study Abroad, Urban Policy and Planning, learn more about our Mother’s Day Scholarship and volunteer opportunities with Admissions, the Career Center, Hunter Works and more!

- Influences on the Beatles, and the Anxiety of the Beatles' Influence
Mark Spicer, PhD, Professor of Music Theory, Hunter College and the Graduate Center and Chair of the Music DepartmentProf. Spicer will survey some of the American artists that the Beatles admired and who influenced them as songwriters and performers, with reference to particular songs. For the second part, I will consider two British groups from the 1970s—the Electric Light Orchestra and 10cc—whose music cannot be fully understood without taking the profound influence of the Beatles into account.

CENTRO Library and Archives Tour - Join us for the long-awaited Alumni Reunion Weekend at Hunter College Silberman, the first in many years! Reconnect with fellow alumni, faculty, and friends as we celebrate our shared history and achievements. A highlight of the day will be a special tour of the Center for Puerto Rican Studies Library and Archives (CENTRO), the nation’s leading research institute dedicated to the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. Housed at Hunter College, CENTRO preserves and shares a vast collection of historical documents, photographs, oral histories, and cultural materials that chronicle the rich contributions and struggles of Puerto Ricans on the mainland. This exclusive tour will provide a behind-the-scenes look at CENTRO’s archives and ongoing initiatives, offering an inspiring glimpse into Puerto Rican heritage and advocacy.

- Alumni Association Birthday Brunch at 11 am: A Celebration of Excellence and Milestones - End the weekend with an elegant and sophisticated alumni brunch, where we honor the remarkable achievements of our Hall of Fame inductees past and present and celebrate the milestone anniversaries of alumni graduating in years ending in 5 or 0.
