Dr. Ingmar Nyman is an associate professor of economics at Hunter College, teaching courses on microeconomics and the economics of business organizations. He has been a member of the Hunter faculty since 1998, and teaches both undergraduate and master students.
Dr. Nyman’s research on theoretical microeconomics and the effect of competition on the use of information has been featured in leading economic publications, such as the Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics JITE and the RAND Journal of Economics.
Dr. Nyman earned a BS in economics and business administration from the University of Gothenburg and received his PhD in economics from Columbia University.
