Faculty and Staff

Our faculty's expertise spans from the Medieval period to the present, including literature from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. Many of our scholars work on diasporic, transnational and/or global literatures; others focus on questions of social class, gender, and racial difference; and several focus on digital humanities and other interdisciplinary theoretical approaches to literature, linguistics, and rhetoric. The department also features award-winning, nationally recognized creative writers of novels, poetry, and creative nonfiction.
