Profile
Donna Paparella completed her Ph.D. at the CUNY Graduate Center and her undergraduate degree at Columbia University. She teaches courses in first-year writing and literature, children’s literature, the nineteenth-century novel, and interdisciplinary seminars. In addition to her scholarly work, she has started a small business and has worked in research and marketing in the private sector. Her current book project examines the relationship between nineteenth-century literary representations of children and the development of child law.
