Honor Society

Table set up with materials for the German Honor Society at Hunter College.

Hunter College is home to the Sigma Epsilon Phi Chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, the national honor society for German. New members are inducted each May at our annual awards ceremony and end-of-year celebration.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Upper sophomore or above (recent graduates are also welcome to apply)
  • Minimum of 45 college credits earned
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or above
  • German GPA of 3.4 or above
  • At least 15 credits in German earned
