Ana Christina Minerly received a Master of Arts in Psychology from New York University and a PhD in Biopsychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She completed post-doctoral training at New York University in the Mental Health and Addictive Disorders Research Program, where she worked with special populations in the areas of addiction and trauma. She went on to pursue a Doctoral Respecialization Certificate in Clinical/School Psychology from Hofstra University, and currently works in both clinical and forensic settings.
Dr. Minerly joined the faculty of Hunter College of the City University of New York as a Clinical Psychology Lecturer in 2023, after serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology for over 15 years. She has taught a wide range of courses in the areas of clinical/neurobiological/developmental Psychology at the undergraduate and graduate level, and has also taught in the College Now program at Hunter.
