WGS 31000 Research Seminar: Feminist Theory and Methodology, 3 credits

Our senior seminar has two components: a course in feminist theory and research methods, with students writing a 20-page research paper throughout the semester.

The class is intended to be taken in the penultimate or final semester of study. We strongly encourage students who plan to submit an honors paper tied to the Senior Seminar to take the course in their penultimate semester of study.

An in-person advising appointment is required to enroll for the Senior Seminar. Women and Gender Studies majors often submit their applications for graduation without it being reviewed by our faculty in order to expedite the process. Hence, before students enter their final term or year of study, we need to see them in advising to make certain they are on track to complete the major.
