The Tina Santi Flaherty Irish Voices Literary Series
The Romance of Archaeology
Faculty Dining Room, West Building 8th Floor
Iris Cornelia Love
A true Renaissance woman, Love has been awarded not only for her archaeological discoveries, for which she received the Humanity Award, but also for her dedication to dog breeding, which has made this heiress, a descendant of the Guggenheim family and friend of Andy Warhol, a true NY original.
Having re-discovered the long lost Temple of Aphrodite off the coast of Turkey, as well as directing archaeological digs throughout Greece and Italy, Love has proudly shared her wealth of knowledge, which also encompasses her passion for Greek mythology, by serving as editor-at-large for Architectural Digest and Parade Magazine.
