Carol Gilligan Comes to Hunter
Carol Gilligan will be at Hunter on March 22nd as part of the Writing Center's Great Thinkers of Our Time series. Gilligan is best known for In a Different Voice, "the little book that started a revolution." Named "one of the 25 most influential Americans" by Time Magazine, Gilligan has received the Grawemeyer Award in Education and the 4th Annual Heinz Award in the Human Condition.
The Great Thinkers of Our Time series brings brilliant speakers from the world of science, philosophy, psychology and the arts to Hunter. At this event, taking place in the Faculty Dining Room at 7:00 pm, Gilligan will share her insights and discoveries with the audience. A question and answer session, book-signing, and reception will follow the lecture.
