Hunter Economics Professor Named One of Top 300 Professors in the Nation

The Princeton Review has named Avi Liveson, Hunter professor of economics, one of the top 300 professors in America.

Prof. Liveson has been on the faculty since 1986 and teaches courses in law and taxation in the economics and accounting department. His research is in taxation, with a concentration in partnership taxation. He also serves as a consulting editor with the Research Institute of America and has participated as an instructor in training programs for the IRS in the New York Region. Professor Liveson is also a founding partner of Park Avenue CPA Review.

The Princeton Review partnered with RateMyProfessors.com and studentsacross the country to find professors who have made a lasting impact in thelives of their students.
