Congratulations to our own Dr. Anita Raja, who has just been elected as a Senior Member of the the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI)! Senior Member status is awarded to AAAI members "who have achieved significant accomplishments within the field of artificial intelligence"; and who have over 10 years working in the field, with 5 years of Association membership. To wit, Anita directs the Distributed Aritificial Intelligence Research (DAIR) Lab, where her research focuses on "decentralized control and reasoning in software agent systems operating in the context of uncertainty and limited computational resources." Moreover, she serves on AAAI's Executive Council. 

We're excited to hear that Anita has achieved this additional level of recognition for her contributions to the field, and to AAAI. She will be honored at the awards ceremony for AAAI-23 and in an upcoming issue of AI Magazine.
