Professor Anita Raja has been elected by the AAAI community at large to serve a 3 year term on the AAAI Executive Council. Founded in 1979, the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) (formerly the American Association for Artificial Intelligence) is a nonprofit scientific society devoted to promote research in, and responsible use of, artificial intelligence. She joins Hunter College Professor Susan Epstein as a member of the council.  Congratulations to Anita for this prestigious appointment!
