Individual Tutorials
Students may consider supplementing their studies with an Individual Tutorial in which a research paper or substantial creative work is written under the supervision of a full-time instructor. The tutorial provides a wonderful opportunity to work closely with a faculty member in the English department on a focused project.
Individual Tutorials range from 1-3 credits per semester, depending on the scope of the work that is completed. Students interested in pursuing an independent project should consult with the supervising faculty member in the semester prior to registering for the Individual Tutorial. If you have further questions or seek a recommendation for an instructor, you should meet with an English advisor during walk-in advising hours.
