Brown Bag - Protecting the Ballot: Election Law and Voter Access
Oct 20, 2021 | 1:30 pm
In the wake of the 2020 Presidential Election, state legislatures across the United States have responded to unsubstantiated claims of election fraud by passing laws restricting access to the ballot. This wave of voter suppression is best exhibited by Texas’s Senate Bill 1 (SB1) but is by no means the only example. There are scores of bills now being considered to suppress votes and curtail ballot access. To discuss that and more join us on Wednesday, October 20 at 1:30pm for Protecting the Ballot: Election Law and Voter Access.

- Jerry Goldfeder, Special Advisor to the American Bar Association’s Election Law Committee and Special Counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP
