Improve Your Grammar and Vocabulary

Is English your second language? Take this free workshop to improve your performance on exams and written assignments. In this three-week intensive workshop, we’ll work on advanced grammar and vocabulary through interesting, informative topics in the news, and through short stories. With stronger grammar, reading, and vocabulary, your writing will also improve! You can apply what you have learned to your fall courses at Hunter.

There will be a pre-test and a post-test, so you will be able to see and measure your own improvement at the end of the three weeks!

The workshops are taught in a friendly, encouraging, stress-free manner — no grades; no judgments; just learning!

Schedule
Three Weeks:  June 7 – June 25
Mondays through Fridays
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Synchronous Zoom Sessions (“Live”) – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Asynchronous* Zoom Sessions – Monday and Friday
* Asynchronous classes can be completed at any time before the next “live” class meeting.
