Curious about a career in museums? Join Hunter College's Anthropology and History Departments for the:

Museum Careers Panel

This event will include a discussion and Q&A with museum professionals including:

Melissa Bowling, Archivist, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Archives
Melissa previously worked at the ACLU, Mount Sinai's Levy Library, and as a graduate intern at The Met., she received her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and certificates in Museum Libraries and Archives from Pratt Institute.

Dr. Mallory Bubar, Director of Education and Outreach, Museum of Jewish Heritage
Mallory previously worked as a Lecturer at Penn State University, SUNY New Paltz, and the University of Wyoming. She earned her PhD in German Language and Literature from Penn State University and a Master of Arts in German Language and Literature and TESOL from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Preeti Gupta, Director for Youth Learning and Research, American Museum of Natural History
Preeti previously served as Senior Vice President for Education and Family Programs at the New York Hall of Science. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from Columbia University, a Master's Degree in Education from George Washington University, and a doctoral degree in Urban Education from the City University of New York Graduate Center.

Emily Szasz, Volunteer Services Program Coordinator, Museum of Tolerance and Simon Wiesenthal Center in L.A.
Emily previously worked at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, the UC Davis Libraries, Cooper Hewitt, and the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and her Master's in Art History from UC Davis.

This event will be held online via Zoom.
