With Presenter: Valerie J Lyons
Some experts say that 70% of people secure employment by networking. Others say it's more like 85%. This workshop will help you learn how to present your strengths, gifts and talents, while acquiring the skills to network effectively online and in person.
This workshop will cover: 
  • Intentional and proactive networking strategies
  • Dispel common networking myths
  • Presentation skill-building techniques
  • A format for creating a networking action plan
Presenter Bio:
Valerie J. Lyons is the Assistant Director of Student Affairs and the Administrative Advisor for graduate students enrolled in Hunter College’s Counseling Programs, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Blind and Visually Impaired programs.  Lyons is also the founder and CEO of Valerie J. Lyons Enterprises, LLC. She is a keynote speaker, Certified Professional Coach, and author of Power Networking from the Inside Out:  Where Your Career and Your Well-Being Meet.  She has over 25 years of experience positively impacting and teaching others how to be the leaders of their personal and professional lives.
