This two-day national summit focuses on RebuildPR in response to the destruction caused by Hurricane Maria. In support of rebuilding efforts, this conference will create a safe space for the discussion of policy issues and the articulation of community responses to Puerto Rico's crisis from the perspective of stateside Puerto Ricans and other stakeholders. The Diaspora will share examples of community responses to the crisis, civic sector collaborations between the island and stateside communities, updates on efforts by stateside organizations working to meet the multiple needs of hurricane refugees, share best practices, and create action plans.
