The Distinguished Writers Series: Paisley Rekdal
Paisley Rekdal is the author of a nonfiction books The Night My Mother Met Bruce Lee, The Broken Country: On Trauma, a Crime, and the Continuing Legacy of Vietnam, Appropriate: A Provocation and Intimate, and six books of poetry, most recently Nightingale. She is the recipient of multiple honors and in 2019 was named Utah's Poet Laureate and received a Poets Laureate Fellowship from the Academy of American Poets.
