"Visionary Futures: Latinx Education and Praxis in the 21st Century"

The Department of Africana & Puerto Rican/Latino Studies at Hunter College, CUNY, will host two events celebrating Latinx Heritage Month. This year the program focuses on how educational attainment, economic success and social mobility impact Latinx students and their communities.
Event 1: Roundtable Discussion of Latina/o/x Education in Chicago: Roots, Resistance, and Transformation
Date: September 30 at 5:30pm (eastern standard time) via Zoom*
Event 2: Presentation and Discussion with Interim Dean, Dr. Vanessa Valdez, Macaulay Honors College
Date: October 12 at 5:30pm via Zoom (Registration for this event will be processed separately.)
