Welfare Rights: Mock Fair Hearing

Welfare Rights Initiative is holding a Mock Fair Hearing with the CUNY School of Law Economic Justice Project. This training will teach you about your due process rights and how to defend your rights by advocating for yourself at Fair Hearings. You will also learn about resources that will assist you in completing your education.
Welfare Rights Initiative is a student advocacy and leadership training organization located at Hunter College. WRI is proud to lead the effort to expand access to education for all students, with a particular emphasis on students receiving public assistance.
