Civil Service Exam - Promotion to IT Assistant, Exam #2070 & IT Assistant, Exam #2071

Civil Service Support has opened the following Notice of Examination (NOE) today, December 28, 2022:

• Promotion to IT Assistant, Exam #2070
• Open to CUNY employees who have permanent status or probable permanent status in the title of IT Support Assistant.
• IT Assistant, Exam #2071
• Open to anyone who meets the qualification requirements (CUNY and external candidates)

 The exams are scheduled to be open for the filing of applications from 12/28/2022 to 1/31/2023.  The exam details can be found here:

We have scheduled informational sessions to provide information on how to complete the exam documents.  The informational sessions are scheduled as follows:

• Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM
• Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1:30 PM
• Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM
• Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:30 PM

These sessions will be recorded and the best one will be made available after January 6^th.  Employees should click on the following link and complete the form to register:

Employees are asked to complete at least a 1^st and 2^nd choice of sessions; however, they can give their 3^rd and 4^th choices.  We ask that employees do not select more than 1 session as their 1^st or 2^nd choices.

Employees can submit their session choice from now through Tuesday, January 3^rd at noon.  Tuesday afternoon, calendar invites with the zoom information will be sent to all those who registered. Thank you.
