Primary Care Programs

Mr. Lauder’s new investment strengthens Hunter’s Adult-Gerontology and Psychiatric-Mental Health NP programs. Outcomes will increase health equity in primary care and provide state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and academic and career support to the more than 500 students currently enrolled in our graduate NP programs.

Eligibility Requirements

Admission into the Lauder Fellowship Program will require a minimum overall GPA of 3.3;
Students must be admitted into either the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (MS) or the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Advanced Certificate;
Students are required to complete their program of study in two years;
Scholarship funding will be disbursed over four semesters only ;

Program Expectations

A genuine curiosity, interest and commitment in addressing health equity and disparities in Nursing and at the community level;
Participation in Lauder volunteer, community building, professional development, lectures and other related events;
Completion of semester and annual surveys;
Willingness to serve as a Lauder Fellow ambassador at information sessions and recruitment events;
