About Our Program
Brothers For Excellence at Hunter College is a student-centered program, open to all but focused on helping Black and Latino males become successful graduates. We are also committed to retaining and increasing the academic achievement of the participating members. To do this, we offer our students academic scholarships and support services such as structured mentoring, tutoring, counseling, and access to dormitories. In addition, we expose high school students to the BMI as a way to encourage them to apply to attend Hunter College. Over 50% of our students have GPA's of B+ or better, and that number grows larger every year!

We hope to see you at one of our weekly meetings at 695 Park Avenue in Room E1218 every Wednesday from 1 pm to 3 pm. Food (with vegan options) is always provided!
