The Clinical and Translational Science Center at Weill Cornell Medical College invites you to join a special conversation about the enduring legacy of the one of the darkest moments in American history: the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, in which federal researchers deceived and withheld treatment from 399 African-American men who unknowingly had syphilis.
The program begins with a reading of Dr. David Feldshuh's award-winning dramatization Miss Evers' Boys, directed by David Ruttura (Associate Director, Spiderman: Turn off the Dark), with musical direction by Jonathan Rose, followed by a panel discussion led by medical ethicist Dr. Joseph Fins and featuring Dr. Feldshuh.
Admission is FREE
