Caprielle Peters is the program coordinator for Hunter’s Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program. She joined the office in June 2019 and reviews applications inquiries from nominators, recommenders and students. Ms. Peters also maintains the budget and tracks expenditures and transactions. She is also responsible for reviewing and submitting paperwork to the Research Foundation of CUNY, which administers Hunter’s grant funds. She responds to questions via email to resolve student issues and performs other administrative functions. Ms. Peters holds a BA in human biology from Hunter College and is currently pursuing her master’s in public health at Penn State University.
