Harold Holzer, director of the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College and author of "Monument Man: The Life and Art of Daniel Chester French," is one of the nation's leading presidential historians. In an article penned for The Wall Street Journal, he explores the fascinating history behind the iconic Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and how it "could easily have become an entirely different sculpture at an altogether different Lincoln Memorial."
