A graduate student in Hunter College’s Speech Language Pathology Program, Noam Waisbrod MS ’24, has received an American Speech Language Hearing Association scholarship.
The $5,000 Graduate Student Scholarship recognizes master’s and doctoral students in communication sciences and disorders who demonstrate academic achievement and promise.
“We are so proud of Noam,” said Prof. Michelle MacRoy-Higgins, Chair of the Department of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. “Her clinical observations are excellent, and she has a bright future ahead of her as a researcher.”
Waisbrod, who lives in Brooklyn, works as a student clinician at YAI, an organization for developmentally disabled children and adults.
The Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hunter College prepares students for professional practice in hospitals, healthcare agencies, general and specialized clinical settings, and private practices.
