Hunter College has hired an Irish-born development professional with international experience as its new assistant vice president of Institutional Advancement.
Kevin Murphy, who raised funds for and oversaw programs in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia before training his skills on New York City nonprofits, comes to Hunter most recently from Echoing Green, an organization that helps emerging entrepreneurs.
“I’m excited to join Hunter College – an institution at the heart of New York City that is famed for its sense of community, shared purpose, and tradition of expanding opportunity for all New Yorkers,” Murphy said.
Murphy holds an MA in International Relations from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Law and Commerce from University College Dublin.
