Jonathan Kalb, professor of theater at Hunter College, spent nearly three years trying to re-gain facial mobility after developing what he believed to be a temporary bout of Bell's Palsy. In an interview for PBS WNPR, he opens up about his inability to smile and how it affected his mental health.
