The Hunter College Athletics Department announced the addition of Ashley Joi Morrison as an Athletic Trainer.
Morrison joins Hunter for the start of the 2024–25 academic year.
“We are excited to add Ashley to the Hunter Athletics training staff, as she brings a wide range of experience working with athletes across various sports and levels,” said Athletic Director Terry Wansart.
Morrison also works as an Athletic Trainer for Brooklyn Nets Entertainment, where she provides services to the various different dance and entertainment teams and attends home NBA games for onsite care.
Before coming to Hunter Morrison served as the Head Athletic Trainer at St. Joseph's University since January 2022, where she was responsible for developing customized treatment plans for athletes, as well as providing on-site care and supervision at athletic events in addition to intake assessments, and clerical tasks such as assisting with budgets, supplies inventories, and more.
