HIICAP will resume offering in-person Introduction to Medicare workshops in May.
These sessions provide a comprehensive overview of Medicare and related health insurance, including Medicare Part A and Part B enrollment and cost-sharing, Medigap/Medicare Supplement insurance, Medicare Advantage/Medicare Health Plans, Medicare Part D, and programs that help with Medicare costs – Extra Help/LIS, EPIC, and the Medicare Savings Programs.
The Introduction to Medicare is geared toward people new to Medicare, but everyone is welcome to attend.
Sessions will be held at the NYC Dept for the Aging (2 Lafayette Street, 6th Floor, Manhattan).
- Friday, May 16: 10 am – 12 pm (Room 624)
- Thursday, May 29: 2 pm – 4 pm (Room 604)
