On 7/9/20, Hunter hosted this online public program as part of the Speaking of Justice series.

Notable speakers gathered virtually for the premiere installment of Hunter College's latest Zoom series, "Speaking of Justice," to discuss the power of protest and what may lie ahead for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Panelists:
Dr. D’Weston Haywood, PhD, Professor in the History Department at Hunter College
Dr. Lázaro Lima, PhD, Professor of Latino Studies in the Department of Africana, Puerto Rican and Latino Studies at Hunter College
Chivona Newsome, Co-Founder Black Lives Matter, New York Chapter
Dr. Calvin Smiley, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at Hunter College
