The Hunter College Theater Project’s inaugural production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya has earned two nominations for the 2019 Drama Desk Awards.
The production, envisioned by Theatre Chair Gregory Mosher and directed by Richard Nelson, has amassed critical acclaim, and an outpour of praise from artists and audiences alike.
The nominations, announced by PlayBill, include “Outstanding Revival of a Play” and “Outstanding Actor in a Play” for Jay O. Sanders’ performance as Uncle Vanya.
