Visit the Hunter College Undergraduate Catalog  or the CUNYfirst online catalog for course descriptions. Public Health majors require a minimum C or better grade on any course below, as the course will serve as the PH major elective requirement (No "Pass/No Credit" grades accepted.)

Major Electives for BSPH students

Three (3) credits selected from the following courses:

  • PH 30600:  Social Disparities and Health
  • PH 40037:  Urban Aging Policy
  • PH 40050:  Intro to Community Organizing
  • PH 32200:  Drugs and Society
  • PH 32400:  Human Sexuality and Public Health
  • PH 48001: -02: -03: Independent Study (course approval by PH Director or PH Faculty Advisor required)
  • PH 49000:  Honors Independent Study (course required for graduation with Departmental Honors; PH Director approval needed
