Welcome

Take flight at Hunter College!

While we won’t be able to host you on campus for orientation, we have put together a robust program for you to learn about your new home – Hunter! The sessions will introduce you to campus life, important resources and your new classmates.

How to Register for Orientation

Our Virtual Orientation is designed to help you settle in to Hunter College. It is not intended to replace your advising session and/or class registration. You can register for Orientation through your New Student Portal, which is emailed to you approximately 2-3 days after your commit and deposit to Hunter for the Spring 2021 semester.

Orientation Schedule

You will all attend 1 orientation track which will offer 3 sessions over the course of 3 days. Please plan to attend all 3 sessions in your track. The incoming freshmen track will be offered in December and incoming transfers will have the choice of 3 different tracks; 1 in December and 2 in January.

You can register for your chosen track through your new student portal account (sent via email 2-3 days after you deposit for the Spring semester).
