Alberto Quintero is an adjunct lecturer in the Women and Gender Studies Department at Hunter College. His research interests lie mainly in the areas of contemporary Latin American literature and cultural studies, gender and sexuality studies, and queer theory. He is a co-founder and editor of the publishing platform Literalia. He co-edited Let’s Talk About Your Wall (2020), published by The New Press. His nonfiction piece “The Story of a Doll” was published in the San Francisco-based literary journal Foglifter in 2022. He received an MA from the New School for Social Research, and currently, he is completing his Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature at Stanford University.
