Alexis L. Eggleton

Interim VP of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Hunter College Foundation.

Alexis L. Eggleton is the interim vice president of institutional advancement and executive director of the Hunter College Foundation.

Profile

Eggleton returned to Hunter from Girl Scouts of Greater New York, where she served as vice president of advancement.

At Girl Scouts she built and supervised the Advancement team, working on everything from major gifts, individual giving, corporate and foundation relations, government/lobbying relations, board support, and the capital campaign for Girl HQ. As secretary to the Girl Scouts’ board, Eggleton worked with the Board Development Committee to diversify the board’s composition to better reflect the diversity of the Girl Scouts served by the organization.

Before assuming her role at the Girl Scouts, Eggleton worked as a development officer for Hunter President Jennifer J. Raab, managing donor strategy and board relations. She also managed the Development and Communications & Marketing Departments for YAI, a network of agencies for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and worked as a major gifts officer at the Montefiore Medical Center.

Eggleton completed an advanced leadership program through Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. She earned her BA from The Ohio State University.
