As assistant vice president for Facilities Maintenance, Planning and Construction, Naomi Davies oversees day-to-day maintenance, planning, renovations and construction activities at Hunter College. Her entire career has been in service to higher education at CUNY campuses including York College, Brooklyn College, Queensborough Community College and John Jay. She also served as the director of Academic and Administrative Capital Projects at NYU and oversaw Facilities and Capital Projects at Vassar College.
Ms. Davies has worked on multiple long range master plans resulting in the construction of a wide range of projects including science buildings, recording studios, theater improvements and dormitories. This broad range of experience in higher education brings a solid base of knowledge to ongoing and planned projects at Hunter College. She looks forward to the opportunity to join an administration that is visionary in its approach to planning and building state-of-the-art transformational teaching and learning spaces.
A CUNY graduate, she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture at City College. She obtained her master’s degree at NYU in real estate finance.
