Vanessa Hernandez

Welcome to Hunter College! My name is Vanessa Hernandez and I have been working for CUNY since 2009. I began working for Hunter College in 2019 at the School of Nursing and as of 2022 as an Academic Advising Coordinator for the Office of Advising. I am a CUNY alumna having earned my associates degree in Fine Arts at LaGuardia Community College, my bachelor’s degree in Studio Art here at Hunter College and currently pursuing my MA in Museum Studies at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. I have gained my experience from a variety of departments including Continuing Education in ESL, College for Kids, EMT and in Enrollment Services with Financial Aid, Registrar and Admissions, just to name a few. Outside of work, I enjoy photography and videography, painting micro paintings and sending myself postcards from every new location I venture off to.
