The Dos and Don'ts of Making Appointments
As Pre-Health advising appointments are in high demand and the number of students seeking appointments increases, the following policies have been implemented to ensure that our office meets the advising needs of the pre-health student body.
Rescheduling appointments—Students may request to reschedule their appointment once per semester. If making a second attempt to reschedule, students will be limited to meeting with a Pre-Health Advisor during drop-in advising hours only for the remainder of the semester.
Canceled appointments—Students are allowed only one canceled appointment during each semester. On the second attempt to cancel, students will be limited to meeting with a Pre-Health Advisor during drop-in advising hours only for the remainder of the semester.
Missed/No-Shows—Students who miss their scheduled appointment, and do not email in advance to reschedule or cancel, will be limited to meeting a Pre-Health Advisor during drop-in advising hours only for the remainder of the semester.
Tardiness—Students who are more than 10 minutes late will have their appointment canceled without prior notification.
