Title: C.A.R.E. (Care and Respect for Elders in Emergencies) Volunteer Program Information Session
Description: The C.A.R.E. (Care and Respect for Elders in Emergencies) volunteer program director will be conducting an information session for students interested in serving as volunteers with this Emergency Department program. Volunteers will be required to go through a thorough screening process and 7-hour training, and make a minimum 6-month, 100-hour commitment. This is a highly sought after placement for anyone interested in pursuing an education and career in health.

Title: 2015-2016 Committee Letter Workshop
Description: The Final Committee Letter Workshop of 2015 will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2015 from 3pm-5pm. In order to submit a Committee Letter Application and receive either a committee letter or letter packet you must attend one of the workshops. This is MANDATORY for all first-time applicants as well as Re-Applicants who would like to have previously submitted Committee Letters updated. Students who are applying for a Letter Packet are also required to attend a Committee Letter workshop.
Title: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and School of Dental Medicine Admissions Presentation
Description: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is looking for medical students who will excel in academics, clinical care, research and community service. The College selects applicants who show an awareness of osteopathic medicine recognizing total-person health care for the patient and for the community.
LECOM recognizes that dentists have become integral team players in improving the health of their patients. The role they play in preventive medicine complements the osteopathic principals of total healthcare as taught by the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Pharmacy.

Title: NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine Campus Tour
Description: NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY will host Hunter students for an information session and tour of the campus on Friday, February 13th at 11am. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by February 4th.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the NYIT-COM campus. There is free parking on campus. Directions can be found here: http://www.nyit.edu/locations/old_westbury

Description: Hunter Pre-health advisers will hold a drop-in, group advising sessions for students with pre-health questions. This session will be held in a classroom setting and will allow students to collectively ask questions of the pre-health advising team and to learn from their pre-health peers. All are welcome, especially first-year students!
