Title: Choosing The Right Major for Pre-Health Students- Community Health and Nutrition
Description: Choosing the right major is an important part of the academic process. Join us for a discussion with Dr. Khursheed Navder, the Campus Director for the School of Urban Public Health. She will talk about the Nutrition and Community Health undergraduate and graduate programs and the career paths you can pursue.

Title: Doctor Speaker Series Panel Discussion with Dr. Nwachukwu & Dr. Anstey
Description: Join us for a panel discussion with Dr. Ben Nwachukwu and Dr. D. Edmund Anstey.
Dr. Ben Nwachukwu is a 4th year orthopaedic surgery resident at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Born in Nigeria, he attended Columbia University where he received a BA in Psychology and was a 4-year starter on the Men's Basketball team. He attended Harvard Medical School where he earned an MD Cum Laude and also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has over 60 publications in print on orthopaedic health services research and is currently planning to pursue a sports medicine fellowship after his residency training.
Dr. D. Edmund Anstey is a Cardiology fellow at Columbia University Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital. He received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and African & African-American Studies. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Alongside his fellowship in cardiology he is actively involved in research and medical education. His research focuses on racial and gender disparities in care as well as hypertension among African Americans.

Title: Project Healthcare Summer Program Information Session
Description: Project Healthcare (PHC) is an innovative and immersive volunteer program for enthusiastic and inspired college and post-baccalaureate students. Created by the Bellevue Hospital Center Emergency Department, PHC allows students the opportunity to experience and observe many different aspects of healthcare. The program is comprised of several weekly rotations which are based in the Emergency Department. It offers the committed student a unique healthcare experience, which is intended to furnish a wealth of knowledge about the numerous options for a career in healthcare.
