New York-Presbyterian Hospital HEAL Volunteer Orientation (start: 01:00 pm - Aug 8, 2016 \| end: 02:30 pm - Aug 8, 2016) Title: New York-Presbyterian Hospital HEAL Volunteer Orientation Description: Emelin Martinez, the Manager of the Health Education Adult Literacy Program at New York Presbyterian will conduct a volunteer orientation for students interested in volunteering in the HEAL program. The mission of the program is to improve health literacy of pediatric caregivers with an emphasis on medication adherence and overall health/well-being by empowering them to maximize their medical visits using culturally responsive health education materials taught in waiting rooms throughout the Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) of New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
