Title: Pre-Health Group Advising
Description: Hunter Pre-health advisers will hold a group advising sessions for students with pre-health questions. This session will be held in a classroom setting and will allow students to collectively ask questions of the pre-health advising team and to learn from their pre-health peers. All are welcome, especially first-year students!

Title: Letters Of Recommendation: Everything You Need To Know
Description: This workshop will cover all aspects of letters of recommendation, including:
-Why are letters of recommendation so important
- What are the elements of a strong letter of recommendation
- How to get strong letters of recommendation
- Review of sample letters of recommendation
-The importance of waiving your right to see the letters
This workshop is a required application planning workshop.
Title: Weill Cornell Medicine Healthcare Policy & Research Program Information Session
Description: Are you ready to impact the future of healthcare?
Join us for an information session with Brian Carroll, Director of Education for Weill Cornell Medicine Healthcare Policy & Research Program.
The M.S. program can be completed in just one year. Many students enroll in our program as a gap year between medical school to develop and cultivate their research techniques as well as to build and strengthen their real-world skills and networks in the healthcare industry. Scholarships are available.
There are three academic tracks in:
1. Health Policy and Economics trains students to become leading policy analysts and researchers working to identify the most effective ways to organize, manage, finance, and deliver high quality healthcare.
2. Health Informatics is the application of information science and information technology in the service of better health and better healthcare. We study, develop, and, improve innovative information technologies in healthcare. To apply these information technologies effectively, we also study human and organizational behaviors.
3. Biostatistics and Data Science provides top-class training in biostatistics, as well as the analytic techniques used in data science to prepare students for the data-driven challenges of today's world.
Title: Community Service Volunteering for Pre-Health Students
Description: Neha Surender, the Let's Get Ready College Access Managing Director will discuss the importance of community service and will be recruiting volunteers for the program. Let's Get Ready is an educational non-profit offering SAT preparation and application counseling to high school students from underrepresented backgrounds. Volunteers will be trained to serve as tutors and mentors.
