Title: Personal Statement and Application Workshop
Description: The Hunter Pre-Health Advising Office and the Post-Bacc Community are co-hosting a workshop to help students effectively revise and edit their professional school applications and personal statements.
While you have all successfully turned in our committee letter applications, the ordeal of transforming this rough-draft into a polished and effective application to medical, dental, veterinary school has only just begun. In this workshop, Dr. Phillips will present strategies for utilizing feedback from peers and mentors in effectively revising your applications.
Three recent successful professional school applicants will join us to describe their revision procedures and what they learned from the experience. Before and after examples of their experience descriptions and personal statements will be used as illustrations of the transformation their applications underwent in the process.
