Bioethics Speaker Event: Dr. Francesca Anselmo on Ethical Dilemmas in Academia (Q&A)
Join the Society of Bioethics and Medicine at our first speaker event of the year! Dr. Francesca Anselmo earned her PhD in Neuroscience and Optics at the Paris Descartes University. She is a BioBus community scientist in which she emphasizes the need for more science outreach. Her mission is to help encourage and shape the next generation of students to become scientists and become active in formulating their ideas. For this event, Dr. Francesca Anselmo will be discussing the issues she has faced and experienced during her time in academia. Topics will range from being a woman in academia to what it is honesty and "bending or picking data", and will conclude with a Q&A session. Food will be served!
