In this collaboration we will be discussing issues that come up with patients and healthcare providers that are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Topics will range from the role of medicine in gender identity and constraints on conducting research on LGBTQ+ youth to problems in the physician-patient relationship for these patients.
Come voice your opinions and hear those of other students, and apply your perspective and knowledge to case studies that will be presented.
