Health Policy Speaker Series: Dr. William L. Schpero-The Economics of Pandemic
Joins us for a health policy talk with Dr. William L. Schpero, an Assistant Professor in the division of Health Policy and Economics Department of Healthcare Policy and Research at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College. He studies Medicaid and the health care safety net in the United States. Through his research, he aims to inform federal and state policy, as well as the work of health care providers and organizations that serve vulnerable and high-need, high-cost patient populations. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Talk Topics: • 1. The Economics of Pandemic Response • 2.
